IELTS Speaking Practice: Fluency Recorder

Answer real Part 1, 2 and 3 questions out loud, then hear yourself back. This tool trains one thing — keeping your words flowing without freezing. It doesn't grade your grammar, and nothing you say is uploaded or saved.

Press start, then just start talking.

What this tool is for

Most speaking practice tries to fix your grammar and vocabulary while you talk. That actually makes fluency worse — the part of your brain that watches for mistakes competes with the part that keeps you speaking. This recorder does the opposite. It gives you a real question, lets you speak freely, and if you go quiet for a couple of seconds it gently stops and reminds you to keep going.

The only rule: once you start, keep talking. If you get stuck, say something — "well, let me think…" — instead of falling silent. Fluent speakers talk their way through the gaps. That's the exact habit this tool builds.

How it works

Pick Part 1 for short personal questions, or Part 2 & 3 for a cue card followed by its discussion questions — the same flow as the real test. Press start and answer out loud. The recorder listens for a natural pause and stops on its own, so you never have to watch a clock. Then play yourself back and try again, or move to the next question. Questions come from our current-season question bank and are refreshed every few months.

There's no score and no feedback on your English here — that's deliberate. When you're ready for detailed feedback on your grammar, vocabulary and answers, that's what a real session is for.
