Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and EzIELTS, an IELTS preparation service based in Türkiye. By using this website, submitting an essay, or creating a student account, you accept them.

If you do not agree with something here, please do not use the service — and if it is something we could reasonably fix, tell us. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data and is part of this agreement.

You must be 16 or over to use EzIELTS.

2. We are not affiliated with IELTS

3. What EzIELTS provides

Lessons themselves are booked and paid for separately, on Preply. This website does not take payments and does not ask for card details anywhere.

4. What we cannot promise

This is the most important section on the page, so it is in plain words.

5. Your account

We may suspend or close an account that is being used to abuse the service, to harm another user, or to break these terms. Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first and explain why.

6. The free essay check

The free check is exactly that — free, with no account and no payment. A real teacher reads every essay, which is why it has limits:

Students with an account may submit up to 4 essays in any 24 hours.

These limits protect the time that goes into every review, so the service can stay free for everyone. Feedback usually arrives within a few days, but we cannot promise a specific turnaround, and we may pause or withdraw the free check at any time.

7. Using the site fairly

Please do not:

Messages to your teacher should be about your studies, and courteous. Real people read them, and mutual respect is what keeps this workable.

8. Your essays, recordings and words

To actually teach you, we need your permission to handle that work. By submitting it you give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, display, mark, annotate and process it for the purpose of giving you feedback and running your account — including sending it to our AI provider for a first draft, as described in section 10. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

We may use anonymous, aggregated patterns from student work — for example, "many students confuse these two linking words" — to improve our teaching materials. Nothing that identifies you is ever published.

If we ever want to quote your writing publicly, in a guide or an example, we will ask you first and you may say no. Saying no changes nothing about the teaching you receive.

We also keep the answers you give when requesting a study plan, together with the plan generated from them, so we can build a better planner over time. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

9. Our teaching materials

The pages, guides, question banks, tools, diagrams and design on this site are our work and remain our property.

You are welcome to use them to study, print them for yourself, and share a link with a friend. Please do not republish them, sell them, or present them as your own — including feeding them wholesale into another product.

10. AI-assisted feedback

Essay feedback is drafted with the help of an AI model and then reviewed and corrected by a human teacher before it reaches you. The band scores you receive are the teacher's.

AI makes mistakes, sometimes confident ones. That is precisely why a teacher checks it. If something in your feedback looks wrong, tell your teacher — they would rather correct it than have you study from an error.

Our messaging system is built so that AI could help answer questions in future. It is switched off today. If we turn it on, AI replies will be clearly labelled, and we will update our Privacy Policy before we do.

We link to other websites where they are genuinely useful — the official test providers, and our teacher's profile on Preply, where lessons are booked and paid for. Once you follow a link, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply, and we are not responsible for their content.

To be clear about that link: it goes to the teacher's own profile, not to an advertiser. We are not paid a commission for sending you there, and we earn nothing from it beyond the lessons you choose to book. It never changes the price you pay.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep the site available, but it is provided as it is. There may be interruptions for maintenance, provider outages, or problems outside our control.

We may add, change, or remove features. Where a change would affect work you have stored with us, we will give account holders reasonable notice first.

13. Our responsibility, and its limits

We take the teaching seriously and we stand behind it. But the free parts of this service are free, and the law lets us set sensible limits on what we can be held responsible for.

To the fullest extent the law allows, EzIELTS is not liable for exam results, missed deadlines, application outcomes, lost data, or indirect losses arising from your use of the site.

14. Ending your account

You may stop using EzIELTS at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing contact@ezielts.app. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion covers.

We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we do, we will tell you why, and give you a chance to download your work first unless there is a legal reason we cannot.

15. Which law applies

EzIELTS is run from Türkiye. These terms are governed by Turkish law, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Türkiye.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, this does not take away your right to rely on the protections of your own country's law, or to bring a case in your local courts.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

16. Changes to these terms

We will update this page when things change, and change the date at the top. For significant changes we will tell account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.

17. Contact us

If anything here is unclear, ask. Plain questions get plain answers.
